sarvasandeh-sandoha-nirm┣lanavicakṣaṇaḥ | janmam条tyubhayaghno yaḥ sa guruḥ paramo mataḥ || 279 ||

  1. He who is an expert in the removal of multitudes of all doubts from the very root, and who destroys the fear of birth and death, is considered to be the Paramaguru.

bahujanmak条tダt puṇyダllabhyate'sau mahダguruḥ | labdhvダ'muṁ na punaryダti Wiṣyaḥ saṁsダra-bandhanam || 280 ||

  1. One attains such a MahダGuru as the result of merits (puṇya) acquired in many births. Having attained such a Guru, the disciple is never again bound to the worldś he becomes absolutely free.

एR| HコgRCf लuकq गkLR} Viる FfR、g@ じ @qUk VR、ネKぉqD Vq}u gW FLJu गkカ} す ぐざくす

evaṁ bahuvidhダ loke guravaḥ santi pダrvati | teṣu sarvaprayatnena sevyo hi paramo guruḥ || 281 ||

  1. O Pダrvati! Thus, in this world there are many kinds of Gurus. Of all these, one should by all means and efforts surely serve the Parama Guru.

evaṁ W条utvダ mahダdevī mahダdeva-vacastathダ | atyanta-vihvalamanダ saṅkaraṁ parip条acchati || 282 ||

  1. Thus, on listening to the words of Mahダdeva, MahダDevī (Pダrvati) asked with a greatly distressed mind to Saṅkara (Mahダdeva).

|| pダrvatyuvダca || namaste devadevダtra W条otavyaṁ kimcidasti me | Wrutvダ tvadvダkyamadhunダ bh条aWaṁ syダdvihvalaṃ manaḥ || 283 ||

  1. Vrī Pダrvatī saidŚ O Lord of Lords, I surrender onto you. There is something which I have to listen to from you. My mind is rather confused and agītダted by listening to Your words.

svayaṁ m┣ḍḥダ m条tyubḥitダḥ suk条tダdviratiṁ gatダḥ | daivダnniṣiddha-gurugダ yadi teṣダṁ tu kダ gatiḥ || 285 ||

  1. What is the fate/destination of those disciples, who are by nature foolish, who are afraid of death, and who by their natural course turn away from good deeds, if they approach a Niṣiddha Guru by fate?
