Thus ends the second chapter of Vrī Guru Gītダ , being UmダmaheWvara Saṁvダda, the dialogue between Uma-MaheWvara (Pダrvati-Viva), in the Uttarkhaṇḍa , later section of the Skanda Purダṇa .

236-238. Now I shall tell, O Varダnene, the suitable places where Guru Gītダ can be recited with the intention of achieving one's own desired objects. Seashore, near any river, any place of pilgrimage (tīrtha), temples of Viṣṇu or Viva or Devī (hariharダlaya, Waktidevダlaya), cowsheds, all temples (sarvadevダlaya), underneath a banyan tree (vat v条kWa), V条indダvana (K条ṣṇa's forest of V条inda)ś in any pure placeś the chanting of the Guru Gītダ can be done. One should begin the chanting of this Gītダ after performing one's daily obligatory duties, observing silence and with a pure dispassionate heart.
