91. Gurumurthy Orders Attack on Hyderabad Temple-Monastery

13 May 2010: Gurumurthy had promised Kishan Reddy (a real estate mafia), a prime property of His Divine Holiness - the Hyderabad Aadheenam (temple monastery complex). 15 of his Mafia men, entered the Hyderabad Aadheenam on 13 May 2010. They broke the front gate and barged in. After that, they close the gate with their own lock so that nobody could enter or escape. They then beat the sannyasis (monks). Several aadheenams faced such abrupt persistent attacks. In all the Aadheenams, the Sanyasis filed police complaints, but no action has been taken for any case till date.

1. False complaint by Forest Department

Unlawfully chopping sandalwood tree is prohibited as per Karnataka Forest Act, 1963. Even if there are sandalwood trees in one's own legally owned premises, a person cannot cut them without a license from the government. Sandalwood as a species is getting fast extinct due to overexploitation as it is the most expensive wood in the world ( $200 USD per Kg ).

A Notice to His Divine Holiness from the Forest Department dated 26-April-2010

03 March 2010 : The genocidal attack on 100 monasteries by a huge mob of Extremist Hindu Militants was timed with a slew of false allegations. On the very same day of the attack, the attackers chopped off a sacred sandalwood tree. As per the procedures the Forest Department was informed.

26 April 2010 : In Spite of this, the forest department issued a notice a court notice to His Divine Holiness while he was still in jail. The attackers who had actually done

the crime were left scot-free. The administrators informed the Forest Department that His Divine Holiness was already in jail and requested for another date. Simultaneously, they filed for an anticipatory bail, lest the State Police could re-arrest and torture of His Divine Holiness for this fake absurd charges as soon as he is released. In a series of way the mafia tried to pull His Divine Holiness into the prison on one or other false allegation so that he could be forced into false confession and silently assassinated which they would misreport to the courts as a suicide or a natural death.
