    1. 02 April 2012 A Bangalore City Civil Court passed an interim injunction order against 9 media houses including TV9, Suvarna 24x7, Kasthuri, Udaya, Janasri, Public TV, E TV, Samaya 24x7 and News 9 restraining them from exhibiting, broadcasting or telecasting of programmes, reports, clippings or visuals referring to His Divine Holiness in a false or derogatory manner.
    1. 03 June 2012 Suvarna TV channel telecasted 'Aarthi Rao', where she claimed being sexually abused for 6 years between 2004 and 2010. The program was telecast once on 3rd June and twice on 4th June. It was followed by a spate of panel discussions and public opinion deliberately planned by Suvarna.
    1. 05 June 2012 Misusing its power *BJP MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar owned Suvarna TV worked tirelessly to incite mob violence against His Divine Holiness. Suvarna brought 20 protesters outside the aadheenam and announced a bigger attack in the coming days. Suvarna TV Channel was already issued a court order not to broadcast defamatory content against His Divine Holiness.

The channel persistently and deliberately kept disobeying the 2nd April 2012 court order and kept airing defamatory content, to incite mob hatred against His Divine Holiness. The Counsel of His Divine Holiness filed a Contempt of Court Petition against the channel, to prevent violent attacks from happening to the aadheenam.

    1. 07 June 2012 His Divine Holiness held a press meet in a large hall in the Bengaluru Aadheenam to reveal a clinching evidence about the falsity of the fake rape case foisted on Him.
    • During the press meet, Suvarna Television barged in with its chief editor Ajith Hanumakkanavar and armed henchmen.
    • In an attempt to assassinate His Divine Holiness, Ajith Hanumakkanavar, forced an Anthrax letter bomb on Him.
    • In a resulting commotion, Ajith groped female monks to incite anger from the monks. He then recorded their facial reactions and used it as a justification to get all female monks arrested the next day.
    • Ajith silently noted all monks who were near His Divine Holiness to get them specifically arrested.
    • Mobilized by Ajith, the militants of Karnataka Navanirmana Sene (militant wing of Hindu Extremist forces) attacked all the monastery residents.
  • Seeing the danger, assistants of His Divine Holiness took Him through a different door and they were able to save Him.

  • 7th evening, Karnataka Navanirmana Sene returned as a larger group of 100 armed militants.

    • The militants jumped over the gates, carrying petrol bombs, and guns in their hands.
    • They started chasing aadheenam residents (specially female monks), beating them with wooden and metal rods.
    • They broke the heads of 10 non-violent male monks and residents with large stones.
    • They made obscene gestures, by removing their own clothes, molesting female monks, touching them sexually and inappropriately, and violently tearing the clothes of female monks.
    1. 08 June 2012 11:00 am Disciples of His Divine Holiness held a second press meet to convey about the previous day's brutal attack. The militants of Karnataka Navanirmana Sene re-entered and attacked the residents including children using chairs, tables, metal chains, metal dividers as weapons.
    1. 08 June 2012 03:00 pm Ajith came with the State police and identified 16 senior disciples (including female monks whom he himself had groped), who had protected His Divine Holiness with their life, from the attack the previous day. The police unlawfully arrested them without any charges or reasons explained. The militants enjoyed police favor and protection; none of them were arrested.
    1. 09 June 2012 The political wing (BJP) of the Hindu Extremists who attacked, was also the ruling government of the State. The Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda (BJP):
  • declared His Divine Holiness - ENEMY OF THE STATE - and ordered His immediate arrest and a 'State take over' of all His temples. His Divine Holiness had temples in 47 countries.

  • Used his Power as the head of the State to drive out the residents by illegally enforcing IPC 143 & 144 (Curfew) and Sealing the ashram.

    1. 11 June 2012 to 12 June 2012 The State police, led by the District Commissioner, with a 100-men-battalion bulldozed illegally into the temple-monastery-complex. They did not have any written order or authority. They raided and vandalized the temple thoroughly and sealed the main parts of the monastery arbitrarily. Right to Movement of people and materials in, out or around the aadheenam was denied. The Police harassed the aadheenam residents and bullied the children studying in the gurukul (temple-school). It was a complete violation of human rights done to instill terror and caused irreparable trauma to aadheenam residents, especially to the children.
    1. 13 June 2012 04:00 pm Based on the complaint made by Ajith, a bail petition was filed on behalf of His Divine Holiness. The bail hearing was deliberately adjourned, thus aiding illegal detainment of His Divine Holiness by the Police. His Divine Holiness was detained off-the-grid inside the Police academy building.
    1. 14 June 2012 05:30 pm The Counsel of His Divine Holiness proceeded with a successful bail order. Immediately following the bail, a 600-battalion police force was dispatched to illegally detain one single-unarmed-monk - His Divine Holiness.
  • No charges were framed, no explanations given. The paramilitary Police Force body-lifted His Divine Holiness and illegally detained Him.

  • The State Abused public money to the tune of Rs. 3 Crore ( $½ Million USD) for parading His Divine Holiness in the streets of the city, showcasing Him as a most wanted terrorist - enemy of the State.

    1. 14 June 2012 06:30 pm Disciples filed 'Habeas Corpus Petition' fearing that His Divine Holiness maybe murdered and declared missing by the State Police. (Habeas Corpus - literally meaning you have the body - a writ petition to court, seeking relief from an unlawful detention or imprisonment. It is a remedy available to the meekest against the mightiest).
    1. 15 June 2012 His Divine Holiness still in illegal detainment; was not allowed to perform the 2000-year-old unbroken daily religious ritual as the Pontiff of the most ancient monastery in the world (Madurai Aadheenam). Never before, even during the past 2000 years of various invasions of India, this ritualistic worship had stopped.
    1. 15 June 2012 05:30 pm Bail granted to His Divine Holiness.
