V O l u m e 8

THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM

What Is Worry ?

The inner chattering which is continuously giving you a shrinking feeling, the negative feeling, is what is called worry. If you look deeply into worry, as to what it means or what it does, you will see that it is sort of a shrinking feeling. It is playing words in your mind, the words that make you depressed, again and again..

What Worry Is?

Worry is nothing but giving words to yourself thinking you will not fulfil the words you gave to yourself. Words like " whatever I do I will not be successful, I am going na, that's all. I am going na, let's see what will happen?" No these are the words constantly you give for you. This is what is worrying.

Worry Is A Negative Problem

Greed is a positive problem. Fear is a positive problem. Worry is a negative space, it is not a positive problem because you carry on the hangovers of the past. Like darkness is lightlessness, worrying is unawareness. The moment you remember it disappears.

For Instance:

you don't remember the solution when you worry. That is one more worry . You worry thinking that you are not going to remember the solution why you worry.

The Formula For Worry

A unique component is added in THE navel centre to create worry. Inauthenticity and NON-Integrity alone does not create worry. You need to add forgetfulness to it, then worry is cooked. Worry is the combination of inauthenticity, lack of Integrity and forgetfulness. When you remember your inauthenticity and out of Integrity, you reach peace. When you forget your inauthenticity and out of Integrity, you worry. So basically When you are non integrated , inauthentic and have forgetfulness you are worried!

Worrying is locking your Manipuraka and throwing the key in the ocean

Worry is when your Manipuraka is locked and key is thrown in the ocean because you don't even remember that you have gone wrong somewhere you just start panicking , see if you kept the key in the locker, at least at one point there is a possibility you can open the locker, and remember the locker and get the key back and open. You have just thrown the key in the ocean means, the only way is to break the manipuraka chakra; that can be done by initiation.

Where Is Worry Located?

Manipuraka Chakra deals with worry. This chakra is placed just above the naval center, This chakra is locked due to worry and depression. This opens when you go beyond worrying, when you transcend the worry. If you don't worry about the worries, the worry will start worrying how to make you worry! This chakra gets locked because of worries.

How Is Your Stomach And Worries Connected?

If you have noticed, the world over, if something untoward happens, people normally say, 'I can't digest it!' This expression exists in all the languages. 'I can't stomach it!' How is stomach and worry connected, why do you sometimes feel that there is no hope left and everything is somehow going the wrong way? Both are deeply connected. So, when you throw out your worries, your stomach will be completely relaxed. You will enter into a new world. Your sufferings, worries, depressions, everything will be simply thrown out. You will not be worried about worries. So when you have a painful stomach, you have worries!

What Is The Cause Of Your Worries?

If the outer reason can be the real cause for worry, how can that come for all of you?! Everyone of you say you have worries., one person may say, I don't have children. Because of that I worry. The person sitting next to you will tell, I have children, that is the great worry for me! One man may say, I don't have money, that is the worry for me. But the very next person will tell, I have too much money. I don't know how to keep it secure, how to preserve it. All my relatives, all my people are waiting to see me die, so that they can snatch away this money. That is my worry! The reasons vary from man to man. But the truth is that YOU are the cause for worry

When you commit with you and others... do not honour - that is incompletion. Those incompletions become hangover in you... when the incompletions become layer and layer, you become forgetful even about the incompletions. Forgetfulness happens to you when you are overwhelmed by constant incompletion of thoughts happening inside you and that leads to constant worrying to happen inside you. What leads us

How Does Worry Work?

When you repeat these DEMOTIVATING DISCOURAGING (LIKE "OH I CAN'T STUDY, MY LIFE IS A FAILURE ETC.) words unconsciously, these words will be a weight, a hangover on you. This will be continuously disturbing and haunting you, without your knowledge, without your consciousness. From the unconscious it will be a terrible disturbance to you. Only such words are ' worry '. These words, when they are repeated again and again, without your consciousness, without you awareness, without your knowledge and notice, they create a feeling, which is called ' worry '. If they are solidified, if they become solid in your being, that state is what is called 'depression'. You are completely in low mood. Not even a single ray of hope, a single ray of light is in your being.

Bringing Both Your Thoughts In Tune Frees You From Worry

The continuous thought flow happening in you, even though you don't want to have it is worry. There are 2 types of conversation - Outer conversation and inner conversation. You can always stop outer conversations. outer conversations creates your identity in the outer world. Inner conversation creates your identity in the inner world. When there is a conflict between these two, your whole life is in conflict. When there is a tuning between this 2 your whole life is living enlightenment. Either you start creating the inner conversation tuned to the outer or tune the outer to the inner. one of the

biggest suffering human beings create for themselves, is the outer conversation and inner conversation not being in tune. Tune the outer conversation and inner conversation, you are free. All worries disappear.

How To Come Out Of It?

How to come out of it? Just use the same key! The same key can be used either to lock a door or to unlock it. Now you have understood only your inner chattering. Talking to you yourself, the inner talking is the main problem. That is the thing that creates worry.

You can verily change the inner chattering. You can verily change the words that are continuously being displayed in your being. Whenever you are conscious, whenever you are aware, just start changing the words! Just start putting the right words! However, it is a process that takes some time. You need to work on this process. You need to work little bit on your Manipuraka Chakra, with your inner chattering. But when you have worked on it, when you have cleared it, you will see that you are in heaven. The suffering just disappears at once! This very understanding will clear your Manipuraka Chakra.

The Key To Open Up Your Manipuraka Chakra

The key, the mantra, to open your Manipuraka Chakra is this: have positive thinking, positive words, continuously. When you utter the positive words, the mind which is trained already in negativity is not going to agree. It is not going to allow you to be in peace. Don't bother. Don't worry. In one corner of your mind, your mind will be telling, in one corner of your being, your mind will tell, "Just by uttering a few positive words, do you think that I will become silent?!"

In the next state, neither 'I' consciousness nor the flow of thoughts exists. This is deep sleep. This is called suṣupti. The three states are jāgrat, svapna, suṣupti—conscious, subconscious, unconscious.

The Stages Of Worry

Cribbing is the first stage cancer, chronic worrying is the last stage cancer, that's all. But last stage cancer always starts as first stage cancer. In the first stage if you don't do the chemotherapy of integrity and completion, the first stage is going to become fourth stage. Understand, worry is nothing but giving words to yourself thinking you will not know the words you gave it to you. Worry leads to hypocrisy.

How To Come Out Of Them?

The moment you bring authenticity into your thinking, worry disappears. As long as you don't bring authenticity into your thinking, integrity into your thinking, worry continues to rule you. How many of you cognise, you want to get out of this cute cribbing, worrying? Now bring authenticity into your thinking, integrity into your thinking.

The Simple Straight Solution Out Of Worry

Bring remembrance to your Authenticity and Integrity, inauthenticity and out of Integrity, worry will disappear. straight, crisp solutions. It will not be there. When you honour your commitments to you and others with Integrity, you achieve reality. When you honour your life with Authenticity, you go beyond fear, you become fearless, courageous, authentic. When you explain to yourself with the remembrance, Integrity and Authenticity, your worry disappears. So the simple straight solution to be out of worry is Remembrance.

Your Worries Are Much Better Than Others Worries

Only from outside, we think that others are not worrying. When you come near, share with others, when you share your life with others, when you share your worry with each other, you will have a very clear understanding that your worries are much better than others worries.

Once, in a kingdom ruled over by a very benevolent king, many people came to the king and reported to him that they were in very deep worries. They were reportedly unable to come out of their worries. However the common refrain was that the other person was not worrying! Only he was worrying. This naturally disturbed the king a bit, and he decided, "If everybody says so, why not have an exchange offer? Let us have an exchange offer!" He hit upon an idea and gave the instructions – whomsoever wants to exchange their worries with the others can come and participate.

The function was elaborately organized. After all it is not everyday that one gets to exchange ones worries! In the center of a big plain ground, a big pot was placed, a ' worry pot' as it were. Into this pot, each willing person could throw his worries, tied up in a bag. But he had to pick up some other bag. After all it was an exchange offer. They were free to throw in their worry bag and pick up any other bag.

The whole kingdom gathered and there was a festive air, an air of expectancy. Who would start first? They saw each other and started talking to each other, and when they shared their worries with each other, shared each other's problems, the king saw that at the end of the allotted time, nobody was ready to throw in their worry! Nobody had come forward to put his worry into the pot!

The king asked, "What happened?" Everybody said in one voice, "The worry that we already have itself is enough. Now at this stage if we get some new worries, we do not know how to face it! At least we are acquainted with our existing worries. We are comfortable with it. We can pull or push and drag our life along with the known worries. But if we are to get new worries, we will have new worries, just thinking about how to deal with the new worries! After all, a known devil is better than an unknown angel! We will have to get settled with the unknown devil. Because surely the new worry will not be an angel. Who knows whether we will be able to get settled at all? No, we don't know!" So, nobody wants to even exchange the worries.

WORRY ONLY COMES FROM INSIDE, WHEN YOUR NOT ITEGRATED AND AUTHENTIC TO YOURSELF.

The Impact Of Stress & Worry

in us

Ignorance means believing that floating in the past and future is relaxation and being in the present is a stressful effort. If we stop the past being projected into the future, you will be relieved from worry. If we stop the projection of the future into past, we will be relieved from greed. The best way to come out of stress is to take the whole world and life lightly. Life is not worthy of suffering. Life is to live joy fully and lightly. Inner space is very important for us. External things must not spoil our inner space

Acceptance will give the clarity. When you participate in every activity, every moment - when we are in the present our thoughts per second will be at a minimum. Connecting the unconnected – the low mood that we experienced ten years ago, the low mood that we experienced eight years ago and the low mood that we experienced yesterday are completely unconnected and independent incidents. All those happened for different purposes, different reasons, different times and situations. But we connect all those unconnected incidents and say "my life itself is a depression".

We have to understand that it is only what we believe to be our past that we will reproduce in future. So once we start believing that our past was filled with depression, we have created the unconscious faith that our future will also be depression. We need to understand that we are a process and that by our very nature; our thoughts are unconnected independent and unclutched. If we try to connect the thoughts we get stressed.

WORDS

Responsibly learning is spontaneous, when we are spontaneous we will be relaxed.Learning is an amazing process. Life is like a roller coaster with lots of surprises. Spontaneous is being responsible to the moment. What we learn from life and accept, it is bliss but when we start judging and labeling, that leads to stress.

Use the eye dropper to add and remove drop of water signifying thoughts.

After Activity:

  • Why are we not clear?
  • What happens when we add so many drops of water?
  • How does the mind handle so many thoughts?
  • When thinking of one thing can we do another with full precision?
  • When our mind is empty how do we think? "Spontaneity "
