1. Who is His Divine Holiness Nithyananda Paramashivam - The many dimensions of His Divine Holiness Nithyananda Paramashivam
Shastra Pramana (Hindu Scriptural Reference For The Power Of Guruvak) In The Guru Gita, Verse 40, Paramashiva Reveals:
गुǽवक्तृए िèथतंब्रéम प्राÜयतेतत्प्रसादतः | गुरोÚयार्धनंसदा कु यार्धत ् कु लèत्रिी èवपǓत ंयथा || ४० ||
guruvaktṛe sthitaṁ brahma prāpyate tatprasādataḥ | gurordhyānaṁ sadā kuryāt kulastrī svapatiṁ yathā || 40 ||
Knowledge is situated in the Guru's mouth or organ of speech, Guruvaktṛa, and this knowledge is attainable by devotion onto the Guru, Gurubhakti. In the three worlds, this fact is clearly enunciated by the divine Sages (devarṣis), ancestors (pitṛas) and learned men.
Gnanananda Giri
In The Guru Gita, Verse 257, Paramashiva Reveals To Devi, His Divine Consort:
गुǽदर्देवो गुǽधर्धमर्मो गुरौ Ǔनष्ठा परं तपः | गुरोः परतरंनािèत ǒत्रिवारं कथयाǓन ते || २५७ ||
gururdevo gururdharmo gurau niṣṭhā paraṁ tapaḥ | guroḥ parataraṁ nāsti trivāraṁ kathayāni te || 257 ||
Guru is God. Guru is Dharma. The greatest penance (tapa) is niṣṭha, unshakable one-pointed integrity to the Guru. There is nothing superior to Guru or beyond the Guru. I repeat this three-times.

Mata Vibhuthai and His grandmother Anusuya Ammal took His Divine Holiness to Poondi Swamigal as a baby for blessings. He took young Swamiji to his lap and offered Him traditional puja items of fruits and flowers. The sacred Arunachala was visible from where Poondi Swamigal was sitting. He blessed young Swamiji, pointed at the hill and said "Appan (Father) has come! Appan has come! Appan has come!" Tiruvannamalai Saints refer to Paramashiva as their own father.

(HDH THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM)
Vendanta Guru Mata Vibhutananda Puri and paternal grandmother Anusuya Ammal took His Divine Holiness to Poondi Swamigal as a baby for his blessings. Upon seeing Him, Poondi Swamigal exclaimed, "My father has come! My father has come!" He then kept young Swamiji on his own lap and received the traditional offering of pada puja from Him (ritualistic offering to a Guru's sacred feet). Earlier, when His Divine Holiness's mother had visited Poondi Swamigal when she was pregnant, Poondi Swamigal had exclaimed, "My father Himself will be born!" Tiruvannamalai Saints refer to Paramashiva as their own father. Thus the incarnationhood of His Divine Holiness was mystically revealed by the great Saints of Tiruvannamalai.

Recognising Advent of Incarnations In Hinduism Through Nadi Reading
Nadi is an ancient science of Akashic Reading in Hinduism. It was established by Paramashiva in the form of Lord Vaitheeswara (Lord of Healing). These texts are recorded and organised by Agathiya Maharishi. It is an important aspect of recognising the happening of superconscious mutants, incarnations in Hinduism on Planet Earth. This age old science predicts about the advent of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM.

As the result of the penance of many crores of Siddhas, Paramashivan has incarnated as Paramahamsa."
The name 'Paramashivam' was added to the name of His Divine Holiness universally declaring it in year 2018. It is to be noted that this is a recording of a 100000 year old manuscript declaring the reincarnation of Paramashiva as Paramahamsa , discovered by the world only in 2010.

"So all the life forms in the world are His life He considers all the people of the world as His people, His children He lives as a Jagat guru, as pure Siva, Sadashiva, As the sun and the moon."
The title Jagadguru was officially conferred to His Divine Holiness in 2012 following the coronation as 293rd Guru Mahasannidhanam of Madurai Adheenam. It is to be noted that this 100000 year old Nadi reading on HDH was discovered in 2010, accurately describing the future title!

Complete Control Over All Brain Function Detected Through Pet Scan
In 2004, Brain research conducted Dr Murali Krishna, Integris Health, Oklahoma USA, on HDH in Oklahoma;
Results using Positron Emmission Tomogaphy revealed:
- THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM could activate his brain at will, to the extent of shutting down 90% of activity • He was in complete control of his brainwaves. (08 March 2004)
Study #1: Imaging Brain Activity Through Pet Scans
A Positron Emission Tomography (PET) device was used to measure and study the brain activity happening in THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM's in different states of Consciousness. The objective of the study was to identify highly active areas of the brain in alert conscious state, in the early stages of meditation and during deep meditation. (08 March 2004)
mesial frontal brain lighting up, revealing the 'Third Eye' opening during deep meditation with 90% of the brain in shut down state! He was seen to have complete conscious control over His brain activity, orchestrating the 10,000 neurons constituting the five brainwaves effortlessly! (08 March 2004)
The Third Eye being the intra-organ and seat of enlightenment within the human body, it is the portal through which the human being connects to The Source, Paramashiva. This study shows a level of physical confirmation of the existence of the Third Eye, a fact that many have been questioned over the years. Dr. Murali Krishna called this area of the brain the "D-Spot". Till date, THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM has been the only one to have been studied in this manner, and shown physical evidence for the existence of the Third Eye.(08 March 2004)
Complete Control Over Brain Waves As Measured By Qeeg
Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG). This measures the electrical activity within the brain, called brain waves. Four different bandwidths of such waves exist, each corresponding to the four different states of mind given as per Hindu scriptures - Jagrith (wakefulness or alertness), Sushupti (Dream-state), Turiya and Turiyatheetha (higher states of consciousness, states of restful awareness). (08 March 2004)
In 2004 The research team from Integris in Oklahoma used QEEG technology to monitor brain activity in THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM.
Results: He was able to activate and quieten any part of the brain at will. He was easily able to slip from one state to another, with no delays or hesitations. It was simply fluid shifts from one type of brainwave to the other. (08 March 2004)
Study #2: Measuring Brain Waves
In the words of Dr. Murali Krishna, "THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM is a bridge between the invisible, ancient world of mysticism and the modern, visible world of science and discovery." (08 March 2004)

King Ikshvaku
- Once, Shradhadev Manu sneezed violently. From his nostrils, a son was born. He was named Ikshvaku. Thus, Ikshvaku is the grandson of Vivasvan or Surya and the son of Vaivasvata Manu.
- He was the first prince of this lineage and eventually ruled from the Kosala Kingdom, today known as Awadh in the state of Uttar Pradesh along the banks of river Sarayu with Saketa present-day Ayodhya, as the capital.
- Ikshvaku is the first king who executed the Manusmrti or the laws of Hindu living which were composed by his father Manu. He ruled as Monarch at the beginning of the Satya Yuga - the first quarter of Time and the Golden age period.
- According to the Vishnu Purana, he had a hundred sons.
Lord Yama

- He is responsible for good decision-making based on records of a person's deeds.
- In the Vedas, Yama is said to have been the first mortal who died. By virtue of precedence, he became the ruler of the departed, and is called "Lord of the Pitrs (all ancestors)".
King Vena And His Son, Prithu
-
Vena was a great king. However, he became evil and corrupt. The world became so gloomy and dark that the Earth-Goddess Bhooma Devi decided that she would not provide crops to humans anymore.
-
She took the form of a cow and went into hiding. Meanwhile, a group of Rishis killed Vena out of anger. They then rubbed the thigh of his corpse, and took out all the evil from his body. Afterwards they rubbed Vena's arm, and the good Prithu emerged.
-
Prithu was Vishnu incarnate, and as soon as he was born, Vishnu's Sharanga (bow) fell from heaven into his hands. However, Bhuma Devi still refused to give crops to people. But she finally yielded to Prithu, but in return Prithu was to be her eternal guardian. This is why Bhuma Devi is also known as Prithvi.
-
King Yuvanashva was unable to have sons, and out of compassion, the sages in his kingdom decided to perform an Indra-Yajna (fire ritual) to enable him to have a son. However, out of thirst, he drank the sanctified water from the yajna which was intended for his wife.
-
Thereafter, in due course of time, a son came out of the lower right side of Yuvanashva's abdomen. When the baby cried loudly for breast-milk, the brahmanas anxiously wondered, "Who will take care of this poor child?"
-
Just then, Indra, who had been worshiped in the sacrifice, appeared, and after pacifying the baby, he put his index finger into its mouth and said, "You may drink me." By the mercy of the brahmanas, King Yuvanashva did not die after giving birth to the child. Thereafter, he performed very severe austerities at that place, and ultimately achieved liberation.
King Mandhatri
- Mandhata was born from His Father's abdomen, and when he was born, the sages were at a loss as to who should feed him. Indra, King of the Gods declared "He shall draw sustenance and desendance from me".
- Indra provided milk from the heaven to Manadhata. The milk began to accelerate the boy's growth. Within twelve days, he resembled a twelve-year-old boy who was thirteen cubits tall. Mandhata spontaneously acquired the entire knowledge of the Vedas and military sciences.
- Mandhata acquired an impenetrable armour, a quiver with an inexhaustible supply of arrows and the Ajagava bow (originally belonging to Shiva) which fell from the sky. Mandhata ascended the throne.
- The son of Yuvanashva was named Mandhata, and because he was the cause of fear for Ravana and other miscreants, Indra also gave him the name Trasadasyu.
- Mandhata became so powerful that he became emperor of the entire earth, consisting of seven islands.
King Trishanku
Since he had lived a righteous life, Satyavrata's soul deserved ascension to the heavens, but he wished to do so with his mortal body and requested his Guru Vasishta to perform the needful rites to achieve this goal. The yajnas (fire rituals) began and with the ascetic powers of the sage, the former King Trishanku started ascending to heaven.
Upon his arrival in heaven, the Devas were alarmed by this unnatural occurrence. Led by Indra, they refused to permit Trishanku to enter, and tossed him out. Trishanku began falling back to earth. In the course of a fight between Vishwamitra and the Devas, Vishwamitra created a new heaven for Trishanku. Alarmed, the Devas requested Vishwamitra that a mortal body ascending to heaven is unnatural, and that they only wished to prevent that. Vishwamitra acceded, but could not go back on his word to Trishanku.
Thus, he declared that the new heaven shall be called Trishanku's heaven and the king shall reside in this heaven from then on. He shall not supersede the command of Indra by ruling his own heaven, and to ensure that, the king shall reside upside down in his heaven.
- Once, Lord Vighnaraja (lord of obstacles) entered the body of Harishchandra, and started abusing sage Vishwamitra. This disturbed Vishwamitra's tapasya (penance), and destroyed all the knowledge that the sage had acquired during this tapasya.
Raja Harishchandra
-
The king asked him what he wanted. In response, Vishwamitra said "Give me all that you have except yourself, your wife and your child." As he readied to leave his palace with his family, Vishwamitra demanded another donation. Harishchandra said that he did not have any possession left, but promised to make another donation within a month.
-
In order to repay the sage, he sold even his wife and child to an elderly man, and gave this money to Vishwamitra. However, the sage was unhappy with the donation and demanded more.
-
Harishchandra then decided to sell himself to the sage, who in turn sold him to a chandala (a low frequency being) for gold. He worked on a cremation ground and one day his son died of a snake bite.
-
As Harishchandra began to prepare to pay the fee for cremating his son, the deity of Dharma, with Vishwamitra appeared before him and praised him for his integrity, inviting him to heaven. Harishchandra takes all the people of his kingdom and ascends to heaven.

- Sagara deputed his sixty thousand sons to go in search of it and bring it back! They discerned a cave in the northwest and a sage sitting in deep samadhi totally oblivious of his surroundings.
- To their pleasant shock and surprise, they saw the horse in pursuit of which they had travelled tirelessly and in despair! They mistook the sage for a thief who had stolen the horse! The sage was Kapila, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu himself! The moment he opened his eyes, all the sixty thousand sons of Sagara were reduced to a heap of ashes on account of the tremendous power of his tapas (penance)!
- King Sagara was In a dilemma. Finally, his grandson Amsumantha pacified sage Kapila and brought back a horse, thereby completing the yajna.

- He did penance for a thousand years on the advice of his guru Trithala, to please Ganga, to gain the release of his 60,000 great-uncles from the curse of saint Kapila. Ganga told him if she will descend from the sky to the earth, the force of her fall will be difficult to sustain.
- She asked him to obtain the favour from Paramashiva, as no one except Him wii be able to sustain her. He then did severe penance for Paramashiva and requested Him such. Paramashiva granted him the boon, which eventually led to descent of the Goddess Ganga in the form of the river Ganges, to the earth, filling the sea.

- Ambarisha was the 46th king in the Suryavamsa lineage. He performed a yaga (yajna) with such great devotional fervour that Lord Vishnu was pleased to bless him with the Sudarshana Chakra (sacred discuss-weapon). Once, he performed a fast.
- The sage Durvasa agreed to the king's request to be his honoured guest, and asked the king to wait until he finished his bath in the river and returned.
- As the auspicious moment approached when the king had to break his fast to fulfil the vow of the vrata, Durvasa did not turn up. The king broke his fast by taking a Tulasi leaf with water, and waited for the arrival of sage Durvasa to offer him food.
- Durvasa was enraged, and created a demon to kill Ambarisha, out of a strand of his hair. Lord Narayana's Sudarshana intervened, destroyed the demon and started chasing Durvasa himself. Finally, Durvasa went to Ambarisha, who prayed to Lord Vishnu to recall the Sudarsana and save Durvasa.
King Kalmashapada
- King Kalmashapada was the 52nd king in the Suryavamsa lineage. While walking in the forest, he saw Sage Saktri, the eldest of the hundred sons of Sage Vasishta, coming from the opposite side. He did not move aside for the Brahmin as was customary.
- Instead, the king struck the sage with a whip. The sage cursed him to become a demon, a rakshasa.
- Seeing this, sage Viswamitra commanded a Rakshasa to enter the body of Kalmashapada.
- Then, a hungry Brahmin met him in the forest and begged him to give him some food. The king gave him some food including human flesh. He was cursed again by the Brahmana. Sometime after this, the king met Saktri and told him, "Because you cursed me to become a cannibal, I will practice my cannibalism on you by devouring you."
- He then killed Saktri and ate him up, like a tiger eating an animal it had killed. However, after much agony, Vashishta decided to free Kalmashapada from the clutches of the rakshasa and restored him to his kingdom.
King Anaranya
- King Anaranya was the 54th King in the Suryavamsa lineage. According to the Ramayana, many kings submitted to the Asura King of Lanka, Ravana, without fighting, but when Anaranya was challenged and summoned to submit, he chose to fight.

- He cursed Ravana that one day lord Vishnu will take form as the prince of Ayodhya and will kill him and he died.

- Later, he performed Vishwajit Yajna (a powerful fire ritual) and gave all his wealth as Dāna (charity). When he asked sage Kautsa what to give him, he replied "your Seva (service) would suffice". Kautsa became furious when Raghu persisted repeatedly and said to him, "having learnt 14 Vidyas from me, you must give me 14 koti gold coins as Guru-Dakshina". Raghu, being a man of his words, asked him to rest in his palace and assured him of giving the Guru-Dakshina within a day.
- Raghu commanded his army to gear up for invasion of Loka of Kubera the following morning. When he was heading towards the Kubera Loka, his treasurer came to him and told him that Kubera, by the virtue of fear of Raghu, rained gold coins the previous night. Hence, Raghu gave those gold coins as Guru-Dakshina to Sage Kautsa and fulfilled his word.

- Dasharatha performed a special putrakameshti yajna (powerful fire ritual) to beget sons, as all three of his wives were unable to bear children. Through the yajna were born Lord Rama to his eldest wife, Kausalya, Bharata to his second wife Kaikeyi, and Lakshmana and Shatrughana to Sumitra.
- Due to previously promised boons to Kaikeyi, Dasharatha is obliged to fulfil her wish for her son Bharata to be King, and for Lord Rama to be banished from the kingdom..

Lord Jagannath of Surangigada Gopala Ballav Bhoga
The rites and rituals of this temple are maintained exactly as that of the Jagannatha temple in Puri, with the only difference being that the chariot is pulled a day after Sukla Duitiya i.e., the second day of the Ratha Yatra festival (chariot procession).
Ratha Yatra (Temple Chariot Procession) Of Jagannath Of Surangigada
The rituals to the deity of Jagannatha in the procession are traditionally performed by members of the Surangi royal family. The chariot at the Jagannath temple in Surangi was pulled and the traditional rituals called Chhera were performed by the Raj Purohits or temple priest of the temple in recent years. Hundreds of people, including the tribal villagers from the neighbouring villages in Andhra Pradesh gathered to pull the chariot for the festival.
Ratha Yatra (Temple Chariot Procession) Of Jaggannath Of Surangigada
Why is the chariot at the Surangi Jagannath temple pulled a day late, and not on the same day as the Puri Jaganath temple? The locals say that the then Maharaja of Surangi ruled the precedent for the chariot to be pulled the next day as the entire village would travel to the neighbouring village of Jarada to help them pull their chariot to begin the festivities.
Maharaja Chandra Chudamani Harischandra Jagdev (1876-1931) shifted Palace from Surangi Garh to Ichhapuram
Palace Of The Surangi Maharajas - Icchapuram
The Surangi maharajas ruled this region till the Privy Purse was abolished and the province was merged with the State of Andhra Pradesh. The residential palace of the kings stands till today majestically at Icchapuram and represents the architectural style of Kalinga construction. The Kings patronized arts, letters, education and the Oriya language.
Icchapuram, the northern most tip of the district and also for the State of Andhra Pradesh was one of the most important major transit points for traders between southern and eastern Bharat during the Muslim rule to the pre-independence era.
Arts And Culture In The Surangi Kingdom
The Surangi Maharajas were patrons of art and literature. One such passion of the Maharajas was the Prahalada Nataka, a traditional play depicting the child-Saint of Hindu history - Bhakta Prahalada, enacted in Odisha. Kishore Chandra Harichandan Jagadeo Ray, a former Maharaja of Surangi was particularly known for producing plays on the same theme as Prahalada Nataka.
Towards the end of 1900 and early zoth century Maharaja Chandra Chudamani Harish Chandra Jagadev [1876-1931] shifted from Surangi Garh and built the mahal in Ichchapuram, which later came to be known as Surangi Raja Mahal, which is a local landmark and revered by the local people. The Surangi Dynasty has donated many social and developmental places in the town, namely the school building, college building, many government offices, municipal water tank, town recreation centre, government tourism park, to name a few. There are also a few other erstwhile princely properties in the neighbourhood like a theatre (cinema hall) and flour mill which are abandoned presently, whereas the Raja Mahal still stands as the symbol of power for the erstwhile rulers of the region.

Study #5: Observing Vital Metabolic Activity During Different States Of Consciousness
Baseline eyes closed state: The most striking findings were: His baseline condition (eyes closed, motionless) patterns were almost indistinguishable from meditatives state patterns. When studying His baseline, meditative and healing states, it was revealed that He had the unique ability to remain in near-meditative state during rest eyes closed conditions, when he was deliberately not attempting meditation. (17 June, 2005)
- HDH brain shows deep relaxed state while functioning normal tasks. This has not been reported before. (17 June, 2005)
States Of Consciousness
Samadhi state:April 2006 research in Seattle on HDH by Dr Juan Uruidi using EEG technology revealed the following results:

Nirahara Samyama
Nirahara Samyama means exploring and discovering our body's possibility without having any external input like food or water.
The purpose of the Samyama is to awaken our own natural intelligence of making food out of natural resources like sun rays, air and the praana which is directly available to us from the space. Swamiji says if fish can swim, we can swim, if bird can fly, we can fly and if plants can make food directly from the air and sun rays, our body can also do that. Every extraordinary capability and possibility is inside our bio memory.
