Section 1
12. Brahma, Viṣṇu, Indra and others certainly worship and prostrate to You always. Being the refuge of such prostrations, I wish to know who will be the recipient of Your prostrations (namaskダr).
(There is anyone superior to You to whom You have to prostrate? Are You not the Supreme Being, the sole abode of all prostrations?)
(Devī Pダrvatī finds the Lord prostrating to someone during His prayers or at other times. This act of Mahadev, the Lord of all lords Himself is a surprise to Her.)
I'll read out the precise translation of the introduction to Guru Gita. Parashakti is asking, "Oh Lord, you are the teacher of the entire world, the supreme being. You are fit above all to receive the prostrations. To whom do you bow? I am amazed at this. Please enlighten me."
