I always bow to Śrī Guru, who is bliss, who exudes delight, and who is cheerful. His very nature is knowledge, and he is aware of his own Self. He is highest among the yogis and is adorable. He is the physician for the disease of worldly existence.
Guru Gita Verse 94 Says
I bow to the Guru in whom the five types of functions creation, sustenance, dissolution, control and the bestowal of grace - are constantly revealed.

Never impart the Guru Gita even mentally to a person who is without devotion, a cheat, a rogue, a hypocrite, or a heretic.
