Chapter 37
Sannyas
Sannyas
- Sannyas is the ultimate luxury that is easy to choose for the intelligent one.
- When sannyas happens to you, you live the mystery of life. Until then, you try to solve the mystery of life.
- When you can do a job by giving your whole life and not care if the end result did not happen, you are a true sannyasi!
- Sannyas is complete freedom to be yourself.
- A sannyasi is one who has taken up full responsibility for his very being. This is a little known fact of sannyas.
- Brahmacharya is living with utmost comfort with yourself. Spirituality, Religion
- When spirit is infused into rituals, it becomes spirituality.
- Spirituality is not seriousness. It is joyfulness.
- Religion based on fear is not religion at all.
- Religion minus superstition is spirituality.
- Spirituality is never excluding. It is always all-encompassing.
- Religion is a technique to explode the energy within you.
- Carry with you words that heal others. Carry your body in a way that heals others. Carry friendliness with you always. This is spirituality.
- Spirituality is living a material life with non-attachment.
- Those who fight in the name of religion are those who have not tasted a drop of water from the ocean of spirituality.
- Spirituality is the flowering of physical health, mental health, good relationships and the capacity to respond spontaneously.
- All great shrines are resonant with the Existential energy.
- With failure, there is at least hope that there is something to be achieved. With success, even that is not there.
- Failure and success are stepping stones to beyond both.
- Never measure yourself with your weakest link.
- Remember: you are stronger than your strongest performance.
- Worry is merely your response to an event. If you wish, you can refine it and even nullify it.
- Every time you are drowned in worry, you are missing the present. Remember that.
- Trust and worry can never co-exist. Either you have trust or you have worry.
- Worry like desire has no beginning or end. It is up to you to begin or end it.
- 99% of your worries never come true. The 1% that comes true is always good for you!
- The gap between reality and your imagination is what I call tension.
- Remember: suffering never happens to you without your silent permission.
