Nithya Kriya - PCOS
About Pcos
Polysystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is caused by many small cysts growing on the ovaries. Though the cysts lead to hormone imbalances, they are otherwise not harmful. Women with polysystic ovaries can have problems with their periods and difficultly getting pregnant. The syndrome causes the chemical messengers that trigger many different processes, or hormones, to change their growth and energy production balance within the body. This imbalance can cause symptoms such as weight gain and difficulty losing weight, acne, extra hair on the face and body, thinning hair on the scalp, changes in menstrual pattern and infertility.
These cysts primarily affect the sex hormones, leading to increased release of androgens, and blood sugar hormones, which can lead to diabetes. Early diagnosis of polysystic syndrome can prevent and control symptoms and long-term problems. Diagnosis of PCOS can be made by a physical exam (e.g. high blood pressure), blood tests (such as blood sugar, insulin and hormones), body mass index (BMI) and ultrasound

Akashic Revelation
The bandha known as Jalandhara should be performed at the close of the Puraka (in-filling the vital air). This is of the form of constricting the throat with a view to obstruct the passage of vital air. After constricting the throat, he should establish (the vital air) firmly in the bosom. This is known as the Jalandhara bandha , which causes the full flow of nectar. Should the constriction of the throat be made with the immediate contraction of the nether part, by (performing) Pascimatana in the middle, the Prana (vital air) will reach the Brahma-nadi.
