Life Solutions Vol 1 - Guilt - Collection
Overview
Nithyanandam everybody. Welcome to the introduction of the eN Vidyalaya program.
What Is The En-Vidyalaya Program?
Swamiji has been guiding all of us with knowledge and insights about the inner awakening and flowering of the child that is necessary to make them complete individuals, who will be the citizens of the quantum intelligent civilization, based on consciousness, compassion, creativity and confidence. There by, giving children and families an opportunity to discover Indigo Children.
For that to happen, Swamiji wants us to teach the children Living Enlightenment concepts as the syllabus. You may ask; how the children will grasp such deep rooted concepts and how the teachers will be able to teach the spiritual details to the children. Swamiji mentioned that these concepts were already present in children and it is only over the period of time we forget them. By teaching them these concepts at a young age, we will be able to save the children the emotional and social trauma of dealing with the challenges of life.
These Life solutions concepts are for all the children of god, equally applicable to the children and families in Florida to those on Mount Fujiyama. Not only normal children, this will also help the gifted children, abused children with special needs like children with disabilities, children with autism, children with ADHD and for kids with medical conditions like children with cancer, children with diabetes etc.
The life solution concepts are learnt as activities and games for Children so that they free the children the understanding of complicated words but give them a complete understanding of knowing themselves and the people and the world around them. More importantly we have seen significant improvement in child health for those that have attended and assimilated these concepts.
As part of our Children first approach, we have been conducting Teacher training workshops every month since 2007, when we started "Living Enlightenment as syllabus" in our curriculum. The children of ages 4 to 7 are able to directly implement these learnings in their life and transition into new possibilities. The children of ages 8 to 14 are able to get their brain wired by all these and escape the conditioning from parents and society.
Here are some case studies of how the program works on children.
A five year old child was very sick. Due to constant vomiting she was very tired and sleepy. lnstead of crying and creating a tantrum, the child told her mother "I accept my body; I accept the vomit; it is ok". The child had a wonderful deep understanding of herself and her emotions; the child was soon healed. If we are able to teach this inner science to all the children, we can make them all healthy and happy.
There was this other six year old child explaining that the body is like the computer and the CPU gives the energy to the body. However, the virus Ego, is affecting the whole system by stopping the love from transmitting to all parts of the computer.
It is this deep understanding that evolves a person into the higher consciousness. Children live the moment and are spontaneously able to put their learnings into practice.
All the conventional schools train the child in IQ ( Intelligence Quotient) and now some schools have started to train them in EQ ( Emotional Quotient ). However, we fail to understand the possibility of the moving the child to SQ ( Spiritual Quotient ) and WQ ( Holistic Quotient ); finally leading them to QQ ( Quantum Quotient ). The teachers and parents must take-up the responsibility of educating the child for the child to face the world of possibilities.
With the ever increasing stress and competition in schools and the limitless expectations of parents from their kids, Swamiji has created the eN Vidyalaya program, a weekend school. Children learning these simple yet powerful life solution concepts are easily able meet the challenges of the world.
Regular schools only focus on teaching the child math, science, history, language, music etc, that make the child see in only one dimension. Mainstream education fails to look at the big picture where we are unable to make children the future leaders. They offer many courses for the kids to become toppers but forget to understand that life is all about uniquely exploring and externally manifesting your intrinsic reality. The world is looking for a dynamic personality who can multitask using multiple intelligence in numerous possibilities. In eN Vidyalaya, we are creating the core foundation of emotional and spiritual intelligence, so that the child can build any structure with the tools that they are provided in their schools. We are presenting them multiple possibilities for the future.
How Does The En-Vidyalaya Program Work?
The eN Vidyalaya program is made up of many segments, like; Life Solution Classes and activities, Yoga, Meditation, Games, performing and creative Arts for children. Vidyalaya means, knowledge of inner self or inner flowering. This program helps each child along with the teacher to flower with overflowing compassion. The program is run for 2 to 3 hrs on any day, preferably weekend for ages 4 to 14 years. Some centers can have 2 groups; group1 – ages 4 to 7 years and group2 - ages 8 to 14 years, while other centers can hold combined classes.
The needs of the classes are very minimal; things like basic paints, Crayon, pencil and some paper. If you would like to have theatre costume you can add that as well. The main vision of eN-Vidyalaya is to give the child the great foundation to their life so they will be dynamically making decision with creativity and spontaneity.
We will be giving you the day wise plan for each class so the teacher takes very less time in preparations and focuses more on providing the best possible learning experience to the children. The course ware will contain Life solutions class and activities and Arts for children. Other segments are left to the imagination of the teacher in expanding the horizon or the children.
When we were young we usually have a simple life. We can mould it the way we set the environment around us. Even if one factor is missed then we are conditioned by ideas which change our possibilities indefinitely. We define the entire course as many subtopics which will have further subtopics. Issues faced by the children like Love, compassion, fear, greed, anger, frustration, perversion, abusive language etc. are some of the topics.
We use child-friendly examples like "Love is like sponge and ego is like rock", and the child quickly understands the inner quality of themselves. Talking directly to their mind might be very difficult. When we speak to the inner chatter/ inner space they seem to catch the point much easily. The truth is much deeper than facts. So the facts are only mind based but truth is experience/reality based.
The dynamic changes that we see in the children is when more they encourage their friends and appreciate each other's work and they become leaders. They are overflowing in love and directly the cosmos returns results. So when the inner space become more and more responsible they have no other choice but to be leaders in any area they choose to work. Children need to be given immunization vaccine of all the possibilities of pain, fear, guilt etc. We also need to give them the truth to be un-clutched from the beginning.
As a teacher, you have the responsibility of understand and following these life-solutions so that you can live and inspire the children. We are sure you will enjoy these topics along with the children making a difference in them and in you.
Introduction:
Introduce the topic 'guilt' to the children and give an explanation as to how our desires lead to guilt.
Goals:
To make the kids aware of the topic of guilt, talk about any incident which they felt guilty.
Click Of The Topic:
Guilt the residue
About The Topic:
Guilt is the opposite face of desire, when you have the desires you have guilt as well. We can call guilt as shadow of desires. Sometimes you feel guilty of desiring something because you feel it is not right to desire it. Other times you feel guilty when your desires are fulfilled because you feel you are not deserving of what you receive. When your desires do not come true you feel guilty because you feel you have not done what you ought to have. Desires invariably lead to guilt. Guilt is something which you did not complete in the past. It is the residue. We usually instead of being with the experience, we immediately move to the next without completely experiencing the present. This creates a residue in us which leads to guilt. For example—when you eat the ice cream be with the ice cream completely, fully enjoy the ice cream then you will not have any residue of eating ice cream. Babies when drinking milk will completely enjoy drinking milk .They will not have any other thoughts. Guilt is nothing but your past decisions and actions being reviewed with your updated intelligence. What is gone is gone, what has been done is done you cannot undo it, now if you constantly think about past and feel guilty, you destroy your present and your future too, nothing can be done about it, so guilt is useless. What can you do? All that you can do is not to repeat the same pattern again, that's all. The past is always dead, and that is why it is called past. The problem is that your being is a crowd of voices that don't belong to you. It is the totality of your mother's voice, your teacher's voice, your neighbour's voice and what not. All these voices are in there. If there is only one voice, you will never have any problem. You mind will move like a river. But there are so many voices telling you so many things and creating the rocks of guilt in your path. Guilt makes you feel disconnected within yourself.
When we feel guilty we empower the society. If you make mistakes the treatment is to first to forgive yourself. Let you be very clear: all your guilt, all your pain, everything is a pure imaginary shaft you create inside your head. Awareness causes you to spontaneously take the right action in the right situation. Once you integrate yourself, you will be centred upon awareness, you won't feel disconnected. Every time we try from inside, we feel completed.
Assessment:
- What is guilt?
- What is past?
- · What is desire?
- · How do desires lead to guilt?
- · Can we change the past?
- When do you feel guilt?
- Can you see it or smell it or touch it ?
- Why do you feel heavy when you feel guilty?
- Why do you cry or justify when you are guilty?
Evaluation:
Evaluate the children's knowledge by asking multiple questions on the topic; ask them their experiences when they felt guilty. Make a note of all the answers.
Conclusion:
Conclude the topic by reviewing the important details. Do everything in awareness to feel free from guilt.
Materials Needed:
Paper, Pen (or) Sketch (or) Pencil, Pictures
Procedure:
Give each child the material required.
Explain to the children that they can draw the shadow of the picture given. Encourage each one can to select the picture of their choice and draw the shadow of that picture.
Inference:
Explain to the children that guilt is the shadow of the desires. Borrowed desires invariably lead to guilt. When we live our desires completely we will not have guilt. When we are not fully in the moment it leads to the guilt.
Activity -Bluff Game
Here is a group game that can be played together for the representation of guilt.
Materials Needed:
A non-transparent bag and one small object (e.g. small piece of paper, button or coin.)
Presentation:
-
Gather the class in a circle and sit. Explain the topic and the game.
-
Take the bag and show the object that will be hidden inside.
-
One person will get to put their hand in the bag. They can either take the object or pretend to take it. They remove their hand with their fist closed and place it behind their back. They have to do this such that no one can see if they have taken the object or not. Everyone takes turns to do the same.
-
Now each person takes turn to guess who has the object in their hand.
-
Watch the facial expression of the people.
Conclusion:
All others will find it easy to point fingers randomly at someone they think has the object. The person who has the object would find it difficult to point fingers at someone else because they know they have the object. That is guilt!
Introduction:
Introduce the kids to the topic of guilt and happiness; guilt a manifestation of ego.
Goals:
To make them aware of how ego manifests as guilt, how being happy is itself associated with feelings of guilt.
Click Of The Topic:
We give ourselves life-sentences.
About The Topic:
When the child wants to shout and jump, dance, that is his natural expression. But adults stop him and say it is bad manners, you should be civilized. By and by the notion of being free and happy is itself associated with feelings of guilt.
A guilty person can never be at ease with himself, he will always lack self confidence, and he will always look for a leader for guidance. This is where society steps in and exploits him. Guilt is actually the shadow of the ego.
When somebody says something and you become angry, it is the ego, your idea about yourself that causes the anger. But right after that you start feeling guilty about losing your temper. The ego creates the problem and the same ego goes on harboring guilt. Without allowing ego, if you allow only awareness, you will neither get unduly angry nor will you suffer for it.
As a baby we did not have an ego but slowly we start growing and developing egos. Ego disconnects us from the nature. Ego creates a dent in our self – in our inner space and again we feel guilty that we are not complete. At some point of life we feel "I am scared, nobody cares for me, I do not belong here, I am all alone – This continuous emotion creates a dent in our self. Reliving and relieving is one way to forgive yourself and be happy. Since we fail to "LIVE", life has become the reverse of live - "EVIL" and worse if we think we "LIVED" our life then we open the "DEVIL" in our life. Understanding that we were unaware & taking responsibility and saying "sorry" will reprogram the brain with intelligence to act in awareness next time. Be with life, complete and finish it till the end. Then there will be no life sentence.
Bliss starts from inside to outside.
Assessment:
- Have you felt guilty about something?
- How will you feel when you do something wrong and others find out?
- How does the ego get bigger with guilt ?
- How is ego related to guilt?
- What happens when we make a big mistake for the first time?
- · Why do we cover up our mistake?
- Can you feel happy when you feel guilty?
- Can you feel guilt without thinking about the past ?
- Have you ever felt guilty of being happy?
Evaluation:
Evaluate their knowledge on the subject by asking multiple questions. Do they understand how the ego gets affected when guilt traps them?
Conclusion:
Conclude the topic by reviewing the important details. Drop ego and feel the happiness without the guilt.
Art Of The Day - Disease Drawing
Materials needed: Paper, Pen (or) Sketch
Procedure:
Give each child the materials needed.
Explain to the children about disease.
Encourage each child to draw what they understood by disease.
Each child will get a turn to explain what they have drawn about disease.
Inference:
Guilt creates a dent in our inner space, Guilt makes us feel inferior. Explain to the children guilt in long run leads to diseases. Guilt affects us psychologically which leads to diseases.
Activity - Bucket And Plate
This can be used as a group activity to show what happens when we are closed because of guilt.
Materials Needed:
- Empty bucket.
- Plate or lid (large enough to cover the bucket)
- Water.
Presentation:
-
Discuss guilt and how it affects us. Ask for some examples of guilt and what it means.
-
Take a bucket and instruct the children to pour the water into the bucket.
-
Each child will get a turn to pour water into the bucket.
Then you exhibit the lid and close the bucket with the lid.
Inference;
Explain to the children we fill the bucket of our mind with all guilty emotions and close the bucket with a big lid; we will not share our emotions with anybody.
- Sharing is the only way to re-live the incident ,so share the guilt with others be aware of it, and never repeat the same mistake again.
Conclusion:
Our body is not able to receive inputs and feel free if we are suffering from guilt. It is like the guilt has closed the entry points of our energy.
Topic Of Discussion
Write down ten things which went wrong in your life
Explanation:
Each child is asked to write down a list of ten things which went wrong in their life.
For Example:
Each child can write about their worst experiences like
-
- How did my favorite toy break?
-
- My best friend went to an another school
-
- My birthday dress got torn
-
- I tripped dancing on the stage
Inference:
Ask everybody to tell what they felt during that particular movement. What are the patterns created, how life has happened to them? This activity gives them an opportunity to re-live that particular incident. This helps them to be aware of the thoughts which lead them to the negative things in life.
Introduction:
Explain to the class about different types of guilt.
Goals:
Make the children aware of different types of guilt.
Click Of The Topic:
Society, parental and self conditioning
About The Topic:
-
- Guilt created by immediate family.
-
- Guilt created by social laws.
-
- Guilt created by ourselves.
Guilt Created By Immediate Family:
Parents tell us that we should respect their wishes, if we are not able to follow their instructions we feel guilty of making them unhappy. Family sows the first guilt in us that passes on from generation to generation.
Children love to twirl but parents instil the fear in the child that they might fall and get hurt because of tumbling. 'No' by the mother actually has a deep impact on the child. It creates guilt in the child. If the mother says 'No' for playing in the rain and jumping, the child forces himself to stay in, or if he goes out without telling his parents, he will feel guilty, he will be afraid that somebody might spot him. As the child grows, this deep ingrained sense of guilt will actually settle inside him. Small incidents like this collect and make guilt your natural way of life. For example when you pour milk if mother shouts at you, learn from this incident to be more careful and aware.
Guilt Created By The Society:
From seven to fourteen, society creates guilt in you through its rules. The guilt based on fear is created by social laws. Follow rules by understanding.
Society instils in you the feeling that you are not enough unto yourself. It makes you feel guilty of what you are and what you do. The guilty person can never be at ease with himself. He will always lack self confidence. This is where society steps in and exploits him. Society functions on your guilt, the more you feel guilty, the more society becomes powerful.
Guilt Created By You (Ourselves):
The guilt sown in you by family and society grows roots inside you. Then you start creating guilt for yourself without any reason.
The guilt created by family and the guilt created by the society are imposed guilt. They are like a crown that is passed on from one generation to another.
But the third guilt is the one which we create for ourselves. When you internalize guilt based 'on greed and fear', you create new types of guilt for yourself
Assessment:
- · Name the three kinds of guilt ?
- · How will you feel when not allowed to do things you like the most?
- What happens when we point at somebody for mistakes?
- · Can we change the past?
- · Can a guilty person be at ease?
- How do we feel when somebody blames us for the mistakes that we didn't do ?
- Have you felt guilty on any occasion ?
- · How did you overcome the guilty feeling?
- Can a person be happy and guilty at the same time ?
Evaluation:
Evaluate their memory skills by asking them to recall the important points.
Conclusion:
Guilt is a manifestation of ego. We have to remember when we point at somebody for some mistakes we have to understand only one finger points at them the other three fingers points at us.
Materials Needed:
Paper, Pen (or) Sketch pen, Picture of disaster
Procedure:
Give each child the material needed.
Encourage each child to view pictures of disasters like cyclones, tsunamis and floods and draw that on the paper. Each child will get a turn to explain what they have drawn. Inference;- Guilt corrupts our inner space . Guilt is a disaster caused either by our family, or by ourselves or by society. Guilty persons can never be at ease, He can never enjoy life as he is never fulfilled.
This Activity Illustrates Ego, Guilt And Love;
The water is love, and the salt is Guilt. The way to be in bliss is to dissolve the Guilt in the water of love.
Materials Needed:
Salt, Water, Container, Spoon.
Presentation:
-
Gather the class and discuss the topic.
-
Show them the materials that illustrate the concept. The salt is ego, and the water is love. Ask them what will happen when we add salt to the water? - It dissolves. In the same manner we can dissolve our ego by using love.
-
Demonstrate the activity and show them how proud and white the guilt is on its own, but when added to the water, it dissolves. Love overcomes guilt
-
Each child can add a bit of salt and stir it into the water watching it dissolve.
Conclusion:
Loving and forgiving can overcome negative effects and guilt will disappear.
Introduction:
Introduce the topic of Rules to the children and ask their views on rules.
Goals:
Make them aware of the importance of rules; and the necessity of understanding why we are following it.
Click Of The Topic:
Consciousness verses conscience
About The Topic:
When anything is a forced rule we always try to get around it. When we follow rules blindly without understanding, we always wait for an excuse to break them. When somebody tells us not to do something, we are tempted to do it. Instead, if the explanation of why we are following the rules is said properly, people will accept and follow the rules.
Children can be given a set a rules initially so they don't move from the path of consciousness. But soon they have to be given the understanding of life and the need to operate from consciousness instead of conscience.
When we are told not to do something, the basic human tendency is to do exactly that. Only life can teach us.
Talk about consciousness which is natural, and about conscience which is societal conditioning, as being a poor substitute for consciousness. Conscience is mind related it is the moral consciousness which is Inner space related. Once you are in the consciousness layer then conscience and understanding the reasons for following it will work with consciousness. Consciousness is cosmic law.
Actually there is a taste, a thrill in doing what you are not supposed to do. Most of the time, you develop an instant urge for something if you are asked not to do it you feel a kind of joy or satisfaction by doing so.
When you have understanding, any correct rule can become a friendly technique to live life happily.
Assessment:
- What happens when we do not follow rules?
- What is the importance of following the rules?
- What happens when we follow the rules without understanding the rules?
- What is consciousness?
- What is conscience?
Evaluation:
Evaluate their knowledge on the topic by asking multiple questions.
Conclusion:
If we live with consciousness we will automatically live a moral life. Follow the rules by understanding the reason behind it.
Procedure:
Give each child the materials needed.
Ask them to draw the pictorial representation of how they feel when they forgive themselves for what they have done wrong.
Let each child be given a chance to explain what they have drawn.
Inference:
Guilt is the original sin. Accepting the mistake and forgiving yourself is the only way to overcome guilt and enjoy life.
Introduction:
To make the children understand when we speak & lie we will never be confident, when we speak through our whole body supports us.
Preparation:
Make the children sit in pairs facing each other.
Presentation:
Ask each child to stretch his hand out and tell two things one is true and the other one is fake (a lie) and now ask the other child to press the palm of the child with his one finger at who is telling the two things. Ask the other child to take a turn & repeat this activity.
Interpretation:
When the child is telling a lie when his friend applies pressure on his pattern his palm will go down. But when the child is telling a truth when his friend applies pressure his palm will not go down. Because when we tell a child we will always take confidence because we feel guilty but when we talk truth we will very confident and our whole body will support us for the truth.
Topic Of Discussion: Re-Living Is Relieving
Writing down the whole painful episode (worst episode)- Writing down the worst personal incidents of life. Children can be put in pairs and write and discuss it with their friends
Explanation:
Explain to the children that they can write down the entire painful episodes that have occurred in their lives and they can talk it out with their close friends or pairs.
Inference:
When we talk about the whole worst episode we re-live the moment, we relive the incident that makes our thoughts complete about that incident. When we re-live that incident we get relieved of the emotional pain of the worst incident.
Introduction:
Introduce the children about the different rules and the reason for following the rules.
Goals:
The children to understand what are right rules to follow.
Click Of The Topic:
RULES as Magic words
About The Topic:
Set of rules can be given initially to help children not to move from the path of consciousness. Consciousness is intelligent energy of your being. When you have understanding, any correct rule can become a friendly technique to live life happily. Rules and rituals are actually techniques for your own enlightenment, blissful life, full of clarity. Of course, when pursued deeply, it will lead to the ultimate state of enlightenment. Rules are possible only when it workable. For example if you keep a rule for the children - "No playing" it will definitely not work .
We are going to follow only the rules which we understand:
Participate with yourself and be aware of your actions –this is the best and the first rule in life, which will apply for everything.
If you do something with participation - awareness, it will go away and will bring us to deeper levels.
We will focus on being happy, in bliss - every time when the ego comes out we experience bliss. "I" has a big army, millions of soldiers, our negative thoughts. "I" is a warrior, waiting to fight the bliss, saying 'You should not exist here'.
Stop Proving ( Stop Trying To Look Good)
-we are constantly trying to satisfy others, we want to 'look good' in front of people, we don't want to fail Stop proving yourselves: When every time we try to prove ourselves we will lose our happiness, proving ourselves will not lead to any result.
Proving ourselves means that we are not being with our self, we are in ego not in our heart. Ego creates all kinds of conditions for us, to be what we are not.
For No Reason
We share: If you share with others you can see the happiness in them and seeing that your inner space expands plus you will have a big friend circle.
-we were born to be healers, when we speak to somebody they should feel relaxed, if we are not healing, that means we have some resistance
In life everything has a message.
Accept - Let go: we let go all the worries and stress to have a peaceful happy life. We let go to make ourselves ego proof. Accepting is a very powerful tool. When we accept completely we are more connected.
You are unique - stop comparing
Thank you-not to be polite, but to express your gratitude-Thank you is melt down
Unclutch
And explain to them why we need to follow the rules. We must understand rules are there to help us. All rules and regulations were created for a harmonious life and happy life, but the moment we internalize the rules without the understanding, we create guilt.
Assessment:
- · What is the best rule in life?
- What do we mean when we say "participate with yourselves"?
- · What is proving? Where is it coming from?
- What should we accept?
- When should we unclutch?
- How to use 'Thank you'?
- Are we using 'Thank you' to be polite or is it helping us to melt down?
- · How can we express compassion?
- · Why shouldn't we compare?
Evaluation:
Evaluate their knowledge on the topic by asking multiple questions.
Art Of The Day - Blind Fold Drawing
Materials needed: White sheet, Pencil (or) Sketch pen
Procedure:
.Give each child the materials needed. Encourage the children to draw any picture blind folded. Children then can see the picture which they have drawn and talk about it.
Inference:
Connect to the concept that guilt makes us blind so that we cannot see the real picture Explain to the children when we are in guilt we will not make correct decisions, we cannot see the real picture.
Goals:
Make the children understand about the concept of guilt.
Preparation:
Get some beads / stones and ask the children to sit in a circle.
Presentation:
Ask the children to sit it a circle and explain to the children that one child has to take few beads without showing others with their fist closed and must ask others whether they are having even, or odd beads/stones. They can also avoid taking any beads and have empty fist and ask the other children whether they have odd, even or none. Each child will take turns and play this game.
Interpretation:
A child when showing empty closed fist sometimes, cannot hide because their face will show as they may laugh or keep very quiet. Connect it to the concept if we do something which leads to guilt we cannot hide it.
Introduction:
Introduce the children to the topic of responsibility and how we relate responsibility with guilt.
Goals:
Make them aware of the differences between guilt and responsibility, how acceptance is the beautiful way to come out of guilt.
Click Of The Topic:
Be responsible to avoid guilt. Responsibility towards body, thoughts, experience, immediate society and the entire universe.
About The Topic:
Many times we justify our guilt by labelling it as irresponsibility, trying or finding some reason. When you do something and think about it and if you get a low feeling about it that is guilt. If you feel the intensity and integrity with authenticity, it is responsibility. If you are pulled to low energy at the thought of what you did, then it is guilt. But, if you feel good about it, then it is responsibility. Falling into guilt is a clear way of escaping responsibility. We think, work not done and added to any reason is work done. We fail to understand that the reason in reality never exists. Similarly, trying to do something is like trying to be pregnant. We can be or not be pregnant, but never can we be trying to be pregnant. So we have to commit to the work or clearly state that it is not possible for us to take up. Responsibility and our choices- when something is told to you, if you take full responsibility of deciding whether it is right or wrong, you can avoid all guilt feelings. If we don't take responsibility of our decisions we feel discontented whether we do the action or not. Submit yourself to the outer world (be vulnerable) and take responsibility for your inner space. Then there is no question of guilt. Most of our ailments are due to psychological disturbances where guilt plays a major role. Most of the time, our energy flow gets blocked because of guilt. Acceptance is a wonderful tool of redemption from the pull and push between the past and future. With acceptance we fall in to the present straightaway. Accept all guilt, all mistakes and all failures. Even if you cannot accept, accept that you cannot accept. You will then relax and guilt will drop from your mind.
Assessment:
- What happens when you are forced to do something?
- What is responsibility?
- Name some of your responsibilities
- What happens when we accept our guilt?
- What is the meaning of acceptance?
- How do you feel when you are responsible for what you did?
- What happens to our energy flow when you feel guilty of something?
Evaluation:
Ask the children to explain some of their responsibilities and how they feel when they fulfilled it correctly.
Conclusion:
Accept all guilt, all mistakes and all failures, learn from them, don't repeat them again, once we are caught in those imposed desired ideals, we can never relax and enjoy the journey of life. Accept and live in bliss.
Materials Needed:
White sheet, Pencil (or) Sketch pen
Procedure:
Ask each child what they mean by emotion.
Ask them what they mean by guilt. Give each the materials needed.
Children are encouraged to depict the guilt emotion in the picture form. Encourage them to draw a picture which is a combination of two images for example combination of lion and cow or cat and mouse. Each child gets their turn to talk about what they have drawn about guilt. Inference:-When we are in guilt we exhibit dual personality. we can never be a fulfilled person.
Goals:
To make the children aware of the fact that when we leave our ego we feel very light like a feather.
Presentation:
Ask each child to make some joke about themselves, to talk funny things about themselves, about their face, nose etc. each child is given chance to play this game and each child is asked to talk about how they felt while playing this game.
Interpretation:
This activity enables the children to be more open.
Workshop 3 Quiz programme Children can conduct a quiz programme with guilt questions.
Introduction:
Introduce the topic of guilt vs. gratitude. Goals: To make the children aware of the concept of gratitude.
Click Of The Topic:
Guilt Vs Gratitude
About The Topic:
If you are caught in guilt, we can never feel connected to life. The only way to overcome guilt is to start melting with gratitude. When you accept things as they are you can experience the causeless happiness and blessings. Gratitude is the fragrance than can pervade your inner space and replace the smell of guilt.
With guilt it becomes impossible to celebrate life. Guilt sits on our heart like a rock. We become heavy and frozen. It does not allow us to be free to dance, sing, laugh and love. Enjoy every moment as every moment is auspicious.
You are who you are. Just be in the moment and unclutch from the past and future.
Guilt creates a dent in our inner space but gratitude expands our inner space. Guilt is like being stuck in a whirlpool while surrender is the only way out of the whirlpool. Guilt happens due to reviewing the past incidents with updated intelligence. When we surrender everything to the ultimate intelligence in gratitude, we lose the pattern that we have created from the past and are relieved of the guilt. When we have gratitude we will always have the opinion that the grass on our side is green. We have everything in us. Everything happening around us is precious and auspicious.
Assessment:
- What is gratitude?
- Can we feel happy when we are holding on to guilt?
- Do we feel light if we have guilt?
- What happens when we let go the guilt?
- What happens when we are thankful for the moment ?
Evaluation:
Evaluate their knowledge on the topic by asking questions.
Conclusion:
Accept yourself as you are, totally and unconditionally. The total acceptance will bring about an active and intense relaxation in which your natural intelligence will flower.
Materials Needed:
White sheet, spray painting brush, poster colors, water
Procedure:
Encourage the children to do spray painting or splash painting on the selected picture (picture related to guilt) or on the plain sheet and make designs with that. Give each child the materials needed.
Children have to hold the brush with bristles facing down and spray with the other hand.
Inference:
If the spray painting is done excessively on the sheet we cannot see the actual picture itself .Similarly guilt in the long run destroys our originality.
Activity - Speak A Lie And Do A Test
Explain clearly to the children that we are playing a game. In this game, each child has to utter a few things, some of which are lies and some are truths. The other children have to identify when a lie is being told by observing the facial expression of the child who is lying. All children can take turns and play this game.
Inference:
When we are lying, our facial expression will show it clearly. When we do something which leads to guilt we cannot hide it.
