Every Action Of The Divine Is An Independent Energy
Every Action Of The Divine Is An Independent Energy
In Bhagavad Gita, Sri Krishna explains the philosophy behind the many gods in Hindu religion. Many gods does not mean the Ultimate is many. No! The Ultimate is only one. God is only one, but His expressions are many. Sri Krishna is revealing how these various expressions or energies come into existence, and how your expansion is possible by connecting with them.
In one of the Hindu Puranas, sacred literature, there is a story about how the god Brahma becomes very arrogant. So Lord Shiva sends out an amsha of himself, an expression of his energy, to cut off Brahma's head, remove his ego and make Brahma enlightened. This expression is what is known as Kalabhairava! This action - Shiva's energy coming out and removing the ego of Brahma and making him enlightened –
this action becomes Kalabhairava. So when you start connecting with Kalabhairava and start worshipping the divine energy called Kalabhairava, if you meditate on Kalabhairava, he removes your ego also, and makes you enlightened. In the same way, Shiva's one action of teaching in silence to Sanakaadhi rishis and giving them enlightenment becomes Dakshinamurti. So if you want pure jnaana, pure wisdom, meditate on Dakshinamurti.
Another time, on the request of the sage Patanjali, Shiva gives him a vision of his cosmic dance, the Tandava. That one action of Shiva becomes Nataraja – an independent energy. Nataraja is the lord of spiritual experiences. Meditate on Nataraja and you will have extraordinary yogic spiritual experiences. Each action of the Divine, each action of an incarnation, becomes an independent energy by itself! Many times, your pain body becomes so strong that you knowingly cause suffering to yourself and to others. You know you are causing suffering, but the pain pattern is so strong that you can't escape it. I can see it very clearly. So many people know that if they listen to my teachings and live them, they will be out of their suffering and the torture they are doing to themselves and to others. But they don't want to. In the Puranas, this negativity is represented by the king Daksha. Daksha represents the negativity which causes suffering to yourself and to others. Shiva's energy which comes out and destroys Daksha's negativity is what we call Veerabhadra. Understand, Veerabhadra did not kill Daksha. He gave life back to Daksha. So the energy which destroys your pattern of giving suffering to yourself and to others is called Veerabhadra. If you connect with this divine energy, you will see that in you also the pain body - the patterns which create suffering for yourself and others - will be destroyed.
