Did the Chief Minister's grandnephew Kalanidhi Maran send his men to extort Rs. 60 crore (~ $10 Million USD) from His Divine Holiness?

Sun Television Ayyappan starts 'round 2' of extortion

Atmaprabhananda met Ayyappan and broached the subject of the morphed video to him. Ayyappan demanded, "Where is the Rs. 60 crores ($10 Million USD)?"

Who is Atmaprabhananda?

Sri Nithya Atmaprabhananda, was from a very simple middle class family. He was far away from any political matters, leave alone any involvement in them. An engineer from BITS Pilani, a leading autonomous college in North India, he was well settled with a stable job, a traditional orthodox family, and had a son. He worked in india and abroad, sending money back home to India - a typical Indian middle class American dream. Before joining the Aadheenam, all he knew was home to office, office to traffic, traffic to home. That

was life. Just like many others, he merely glimpsed His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda, and felt a strong calling from deep within his being. He saw a possibility to dedicate his life to others! What was the use of working for large multinational corporations, for whom he anyway was easily dispensable and with whom he was a second class citizen at the end of the day? Why not work for a higher purpose? He simply decided to follow Paramahamsa Nithyananda and join His mission of reviving Sanatana Hindu Dharma.

Atmaprabhananda has no answer for Ayyappan's demand

Sri Nithya Atmaprabhananda was sweating, he mumbled and stammered. He was not able to say anything. He had just found out, the fabricated video had been released and the aadheenam had been set on fire by a mob of more than a thousand. He just knew, His Divine Holiness' life was in danger. He had to save Him, He had to save his Guru. He was afraid of risking his guru's life, by his own stupidity. He was in an internal conflict, a decision deadlock how to get the money, from where to get the money.
