Kumbha Mel¢ USA, October 2009
Kumbha Mel¢ is a beautiful spiritual gathering of people. In India, it happens in the following places: Haridwar, Allahabad, Ujjain, and Nasik. It is attended by millions of people. Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam also participates in the South Indian Kumbha Mel¢. Nithyananda has been declared as the Mah¢ma´²aleºvar of the nirv¢´¤ akh¢²¢.

Nithyananda delivered breakthrough discourses on the Patanjali Yoga Sutras, which were also streamed online across the world. They were watched eagerly by people in various cities in USA, India, Singapore, Malaysia, etc., inspiring them to become a part of the ever-expanding Nithyananda family.
Flood relief operations in India The first group of flood relief volunteers of Nithyananda Global Initiatives (NGI) provided close to 10 tons of relief material worth Rs. 600,000 comprising food, utensils, cooking material, clothes, etc., for the Karnataka flood victims. Relief operations were done in Andhra Pradesh including the offering of shelter to around 160 flood-affected families.
